Our Photorealistic Engraving Technology(PET) can be engraved a halftone image on a stone.It has the ability to produce highly detailed graphic images. Giving you photos to last a lifetime!

 

 

Also it uses computer graphic programs to produce high resolution photos. High resolution photomask and fine sandblasting works satisfy our customers.

 

Our PET's works can not to be compared with CO2 Laser'works.

The engraving process consists of processing a photograph, either digital or print that has been scanned, through a series of photographic editing computer programs and turning it into a high contrast halftone image. The image is then sent to the exposure  where it is transferred into photomask using UV light. After applying the photomask developed on stone, The image is engraved on stone through photosandblasting process.

 

Absolute Black Granite is inherently grey below the polished surface therefore the engraved image will be a muted “black and grey”. The engraved photos are best highlighted with light or placed in bright sunlight. They will not fade or yellow and can be cleaned with non abrasive soap and water. Inside they will last for thousands of years. If placed outside, as for a memorial, it will take for centuries to show significant weathering.
